Finding myself at a loose end as my walking mate for today had to cry off feeling ill, I decided to wake up the bike for a short run.
Yep I assaulted the round town ride again, this time making sure that the sat nav was working 🙂
Just like the 13th August the great lump made it without pushing the bike, however I was in bottom gear for the hill bits and my legs are out on strike ! Of course it doesn’t help if you had done 4 mile on the exercise bike an hour earlier !! doh !
I would dearly love to know who the sadist is that controls the pedestrians on South Road in town, there are 3 sets of pedestrian lights and I got caught by all 3, which is a P.I.T.A. when you have just got back up to speed 🙁
I have to say it was fun whizzing down Oathall Road in speeds over 20 mph :-), I will pass on cycling up it though :-O
As ever Sydney Road and Perrymount Road left me feeling cream crackered and sweating 🙁 however that will not stop me from doing this route again 🙂
