Yep, I’ve started on the longer walks this year 🙂
As the forecast wasn’t too bad decided to walk from the mills past Ditchling Beacon and on to the beacon at Mount Harry.
The temperature was cool, but heading out you don’t notice the cold wind heading eastwards, coming back that’s in your face and then you feel yourself cool down, which is weird when you are working harder to walk intothe wind.
The trail was mostly dry although there was some mud around the bostals and Plumpton Plain.
It felt good to be back doing the longer walks and it didn’t feel as bad as expected, so longers walks will be looked into 🙂
