After being prevented by the weather conditions last week I got back to my usual riverside walks from work.
I wandered along the riverside, through the town to the bridge and then back through the back lanes to the office.
The constant rain had made the height rise quite a bit but no overspills 🙂
Yep, did the now standard looped run to Cuckfield, through the village,
Returning to Haywards Heath via the bypass then through to the back edge of Lindfield before heading for home.
Rode to Cuckfield, going through the village and returning via the bypass.
Then rode through town and on to Lindfield
Returned to town and again headed into Cuckfield
Returned to town through Cuckfield rather than take the bypass
Rode down Oathall then returned via Gander Hill
Eventually got out to ride, dodging the ££$%£$%% showers
Today must be national moron day, because the great brain dead were out there – it’s soul destroying when you get riding and some muppet keeps on stopping you in your tracks grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Rode to Cuckfield, through the village, and returned to town via the bypass
Rode across town, and down Oathall Road, but cut through the park to get home earlier – failed to dodge that shower 🙁
Wandered by the river upto Carcraft, round to the town and back via Wier Road
Wasn’t going for too long a walk as the weather was threatening – it hissed down just after I got back 🙂
Went for stroll up to the Post Office in Chertsey then onwards to the bridge and back via the back lanes.
Went for a stroll round Ardingly in the hope that the bluebells had improved – unfortunately it looks like the best has now gone 🙁
The track was drier than thursday, but the water level appears to haven risen a treat 🙂
We were given a wonderful chance to take pictures of a robin that decided to pose for us 🙂
Did this ride again, with a BIG twist,
When I got back from Lindfield I rode to Cuckfield again, before returning to do the Oathall Road / Sydney road loop again
The legs are now feeling it, and the bum is calling the saddle a liar- it disagrees that the saddle has a gel to make it softer !
Yep I did it again (and no calling be Britney you lot ! )
rode to Cuckfield with the extra market diversion, although no roadworks 🙂
Rode back into town, diverted to check if the Post Office was open, then onto the far side of Lindfield before returning
Again reached 24 mph (I must be mad)
Went for a wander to the bridge at Chertsey,
Then walked across town to the Staines Road
Walked back by the river.
One thing puzzles me though, how the whatsits did I manage 4 mph ! Score one for a fast walking fat lump !
