Yep, it’s a biggie today 🙂

Rode down to Ditchling common via Wivelsfield  as usual

Turned left at the roundabout and headed towards Plumpton but then turned for Streat

Rode along the lane all the way to the Underhill Lane passing some lovely old period property on the way 🙂

Rode the Underhill Lane  to Clayton then headed for Hassocks

Rode through Hassocks and when I arrived at Burgesss Hill id the now customary haul round the bypass

Rode up Isaacs Lane, through Haywards Heath and down Oathall Road to Lindfield

Turned in Denmans Lane and returned home via Gander Hill

This ride brings up 1,800 miles this year, on track for the target of 2,000 miles 🙂

Rode out to Lindfield and got caught in a short sharp shower.

Continued into the village and headed out to Walstead

Passed East Mascalls Farm and the rain started again

By the time I got onto Plummerden Lane it wasgetting heavier so cold, and dripping wet I turned round and headed home.

I frozen, soggy, lurgy ridden lump arrived home via Gander Hill – anyone want a cold ?

Did the usual Thursday lunchtime ride 🙂

Rode up Balcombe Road (stopping for a phone call)

Rode up Hanlye Lane and into Cuckfield

Rode through Ansty  to Burgess Hill

Returned home via Isaacs Lane

Revisited an old ride today, this is similar to the usual ride but without the divert to Borde Hill – instead this continues through to Lindfield on High Beeches Lane, with a short evil little hill on it.

So went into Lindfield via Hickmans Lane, on on to Walstead

Carried on to Ardingly and turned down by the college to head back out of the village

Carried on the road without turning off and attacked the hill in High Beeches Lane

For the first time I managed to get over it, all be it in bottom gear, but I made it 🙂

The roads were wet but  given the rain last night not surprising.

Returned home via Gander Hill

Yep, unleashed the hybrid for a swift lunchtime ride (dodging the showers), however hadn’t taken the wind into account which slowed me up 🙁

Rode down to the Balcombe  Road then up to Cuckfield via Hanlye Lane

Rode through to  Burgess Hill via Ansty

Returned via Isaacs Lane

Not my fastest ride, but I got there 🙂
