Went out for the usual weekend afternoon ride on the Weeee run and then rode up Gander Hill
Needed to do a few more miles so went out and did the Weeee run
Rode up through the Broadway and headed for Cuckfield
Rode to the heart of the village and headed north then turned onto Hanlye Lane
Rode down Hanly Lane and Balcombe Road
Rode up Gander Hill and returned via Sydney Road
Rode out to Lindfield down Sydney Road and round hickmans Lane (Sunte Avenue is closed for yet another dose of Gas Board holes)
Rode out through Walstead and into Plummerden Lane
Went through the usual puddles (yep it rained heavily last night)and got a pir of wet feet ho hum
Rode up to Ardingly and turned back down College Road
Rode across to the Borde Hill estate and down the Balcombe Road
Rode up Gander Hill then up Oathall Road
Went across town and returned home via the Broadway.
Finally managed to get the bike out again, it’s hard to believe that a week ago my Saturday would be spent shovelling snow
Rode down Isaacs Lane to the roundabout by the tip in Burgess Hill then turned towards Ansty
Rode uphill to Ansty then carried on up to Cuckfield
After riding up through the village turned onto Hanlye Lane and rode down 🙂 to the Balcombe Road
Carried on down the Balcombe Road and on to Gander Hill
Returned home via Sydney Road
Went for a shorter ride this lunchtime, the hilly side roads I ride are icy – I do not want to arse over tit infront of white van man :-O
Rode up the Balcombe Road
Rode up Hanlye Lane dodging the black ice by riding in the slush !
Went into Cuckfield and returned via the A272 and the Broadway
Did the usual Weeee run and the added Lindfield Loop, I can tell you it’s colder than this morning 🙁
Rode up to the A272 and then along to Cuckfield
Rode up to Hanlye Lane then enjoyed the ride down it and the Balcombe Road
Carried on the turnaround point in Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Returned home via Sydney and Perrymount roads
Did the reverse of the Thursday Lunchtime run.
rode down Isaacs Lane to Burgess Hill,
Then to Cuckfield via Ansty (most of which is uphill)
rode down Hanlye Lane and the Balcombe Road
carried on the turnaround point in Lindfield
Returned to Haywards Heath and rode up Oathall Road
Rode across town and finished off coming down through the Broadway.
Took advantage of a break in the weather by getting out and hitting the road.
Rode through to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode through to Walstead and on to Ardingly, nice to see the rain hadn’t caused the deep puddles of a week ago 🙂
Rode down College Road and across to Borde Hill on Copyhold Lane to be amazed by someone taking a coach on it, talk about tight :-O
Returned home down Balcombe Road and up Perrymount Road.
It was time for the usual old Thurday lunchtime run.
Up Balcombe Road,
Up Hanlye Lane into Cuckfield
Across to Burgess Hill via Ansty,
Back home via Isaacs Lane, the A272 and the Broadway
Did a repeat run from yesterday 🙂
Rode out to Cuckfield via the A272, turning right in the heart of the village.
Rode up to Hanlye lane then down that lane and the Balcombe Road
Rode through to the Lindfield turn round point
Rode back via Sydney Road
Did a repeat ride of yesterday morning, although this shows as slightly shorter due to the GPS dragging it’s arse to boot up !
Rode out to Lindfield and onto Hickmans Lane
Rode out to Walstead and then headed for Ardingly
Come down College Road and headed for Borde Hill
Rode across to Cuckfield
Returned home via the Broadway
