Went out for an evening ride thinking I’ll get a swift 8 miles done – guess who didn’t bank on Captain Kretin’s traffic mismanagement.

Rode up to the A272 and joined the queue for the roadworks by the Police Station

Once past that delightful stretch of roadworks I ploughed on to Cuckfield

In the village I headed for Ardingly Road with plans of whizzing down Hanlye Lane

fat chance, it was solid to the Balcombe Road I was the quickest on the descent riding down the middle of the road 🙂

Once on the Balcombe Road I went through to Lindfield (via Hickmans Lane), now in normal traffic 🙂

Did the turnaround by the church and rode past the pond and common

Went over Gander Hill and returned home via Mill Green Road

Went out for a longer ride this morning,

Rode up to the A272 and across to Cuckfield

Rode past Ardingly road and on past the Rugby club to Broxmead Lane

Rode down the lane then Pickwell Lane before picking up the A272 to ride back to Ansty,

Went back to cuckfield and pn to Ardingly Road

This time I rode through the road and down Hanlye Lane

I picked up the Balcombe Road and went on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane

Rode out of the top of the village and up the 2 hills to Stonecross Lane

Took the lane round to Plummerden Lane to reach Walstead

Rode on to Lindfield, passed the pond and common before going,over Gander Hill

Returned home via Mill Green Road

Went out for my afternoon ride

Rode to the A272 and across to Cuckfield

Rode up to the Ardingly Road and then down Hanlye Lane

Rode down the Balcombe road and on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane

Rode up to Stonecross lane via the 2 hills

Went round to Plummerden Lane then rode it back to Walstead

Rode back into Lindfield then passed the pond and common

Rode up and over Gander Hill before returning home.

Rode up to the A272 and headed past the hospital

Turned off at the Wakehurst turn and headed up to Walstead

Turned right and headed for Plummerden Lane

Rode the lane then headed for Ardingly

Dropped down College Road

Went across to Borde Hill and picked up the Balcombe Road

Returned home via Mill Green Road

Rode up to the A272 and across to Cuckfield

Turned into Ardingly Road then whizzed down Hanlye Lane

Continued down the Balcombe Road and on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane

Rode out of the top of the village and up the 2 hill road

turned into Stonecross Lane and continued to Plummerden Lane

Went down the Lane then carried on to Walstead

Went on to Lindfield and pedalled past the pond and the common

Turned and rode over Gander Hill

Returned home via Mill Green Road
