Went out for a morning ride, the first of the year 🙂
I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road
I went through Gower road to Queens road and rode to the cricket pitch
I then rode down Oatlands Drive to Walton Bridge, and crossed the river
I went through Shepperton where I encountered the first Merc Estate which passed me at a great rate of knots well in excess of the speed limit.
I carried on to Laleham and picked up the road by the river to Chertsey Bridge
At the bridge I rode on the way to Shepperton having done part of a big loop
I turned into Dockett eddy Lane and rode by the river to Old Shepperton
Here I found the other Merc estate, it was in the middle of the road doing 5mph ! this one was driven by the proverbial little old lady ! How different to the first one.
At Old Shepperton I rode back to Walton Bridge, crossed the river and picked up Walton Lane
I returned to town and picked up Portmore Park Road then Wey Road
I carried on to Balfour Road and headed for the Bourne Estate
I then rode by the river to Heath Road and ascended to the station
Finally I returned home down Hanger hill – thus concludes the first ride of the season! 🙂
