Yep, did the old favourite just to keep a modicum of fitness up 🙂
Rode out to Lindfield and took Denmans Lane
Rode out to Walstead, past the golf course and farm and then rode Plummerden Lane
Stopped just by the end of the lane, I forgot to pack a snorkel !
Carried on to Ardingly and turned left to head last the college.
Rode through to Borde Hill and returned home via Mill Green & Perrmount roads
This was just right at an hour for a swift bit of exercise 🙂
This ride achieved my higher target of 2,000 miles cycled more than last year.
This ride was also surreal, it’s not every day you come across a pig wandering down the road, and a pack of Santas wandering across the green !
Rode through to Lindfield taking Hickmans Lane
Rode to Walstead, where halfway along between the school and the cemetary said porker was seen – hung around for a few minutes whilst I reported it to the Police and a local resident, whose neighbour was having his garden plants pruned by said pig.
Carried on past East Maskills Farm, and then rode Plummerden Lane
Continued to Ardingly and turned for Borde Hill
Rode through to Cuckfield
Returned to town past the war memorial where I spotted the Santas
Rode down through the Broadway to home.
Finished off today’s riding with a quick blast on the weee run, a visit to Lindfield and a ride across town.
Firstly I rode up Perrymount to the A272 and then on to Cuckfield.
I turned right to head out of the village and then picked up Hanlye Lane where the lovely downhill ride took place and continued on the Balcombe Road
I carried on to Lindfield to reach the turnround point
Returned to town and rode UP Oathall Road to South Road
Rode across town and returned home down through the Broadway.
Just 13 miles to reach my revised (upped) target for the year.
As it was warmer I went for a longer ride 🙂
Rode down to Ditchling Common passing through Wivelsfield
Headed for Westmeston before taking Underhill Lane to Clayton
Returned to town via Hassocks and Burgess Hill
Rode across town, down Oathall and returned home via Sydney Road.
Did the usual Thursday afternoon ride.
Rode up Balcombe Road and Hanlye Lane
Rode through Cuckfield and Ansty to Burgess Hill
Returned to town on Isaacs Lane
Rode home down the Broadway and Perrymount Road
To burn off the delightful roast dinner I’ve just had went out for ride on the weeee run and decided to extend it to Lindfield 🙂
Rode up to the top of the town and raided the hole in the wall then set off for Cuckfield
Rode up London Lane then turned right towards Staplefield and Balcombe
Turned right and hit Hanlye Lane
Rode down the hill stopping to take a few pictures
Rode down Balcombe Road then headed for Lindfield
Rode to the turn around point then returned via Gander Hill
Rode out this morning in the delightfully freezing conditions – guess who was wrapped up WARMLY 🙂

The first of the month, and the first bloody frosty ride out :-O
It was a novel experience seeing ice forming on the fingers of my gloves whilst my fingers were still warm !
Rode down past Wivelsfield to Ditchling Common where I turned for Burgess Hill
Rode up Folders Lane then into Keymer Road.
Picked up the Bridleway through to London Road
went round the bypass to Isaacs Lane
Came back to town and across to Lindfield via Oathall Road
Returned via Hickmans Lane and Gander Hill
