31/07/2015 The evening ride to Chertsey and back

Went out for an evening ride enjoying the fine weather

Rode up Hanger Hill to the Station and then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Went through Gower Road to Queens Road and down to Monument Green

Turned into Oatlands and rode down to Walton Bridge

Crossed the river and rode to Old Shepperton and on to the Chertsey Bridge Road

Rode into Chertsey and through town to go to the Thorpe Road

Went to St Anns Hill and rode up the shorter route before riding to Green Lane

Cycled Green Lane to Addlestone, and then on to New Haw to eventually reach the A245

rode to Brooklands Road and turned to ride up the road to the station

Returned home down Hanger Hill

31/07/2015 A walk at lunchtime to Stroudwater Park and back

Friday, July 31st, 2015

Went out for a lunchtime walk from work, due to commitments I was on me todd

I walked up Brooklands Road to St Georges Avenue and turned into it

Walked round to Stroudwater Park and had a nosy at our old flat

Walked back to pick up the footpath through the woods to Cobbetts Hill

Walked to the station, crossed the road and picked up the path to Lonsdale Road

Went through to Locke King Road and turned to return to the office

30/07/2015 A walk down to Meejana and back

Friday, July 31st, 2015

Went for a meal out with Iren at Meejana, as it was near we walked down rather than drive.

Walked down Hanger Hill to the footpath just before Churchfield Avenue

Walked down the path through to the carpark, and past the church to the High Street

Walked round into Heath Road to Meejana and enjoyed our meal

Returned back the way we came.

30/07/2015 An afternoon ride to Ottershaw, Byfleet and back via Seven Hills

Thursday, July 30th, 2015

Went out for an afternoon ride

Rode down Hanger Hill to Monument Green then through town to pick up the Chertsey road

Went to Addlestone and rode through to Ottershaw

Headed for Sheerwater and then picked up the A245

Rode through Byfleet to the junction with Seven Hills Road near the A3 junction

turned left and rode Seven Hills Road to town

Went along Queens Road to Monument Green and then rode home up Hanger Hill

30/07/2015 A morning walk down to the cafe and back

Thursday, July 30th, 2015

Had a so so morning at work, the security locks decided that we were not worthy of access to our room 🙁

So two of us wandered down to the cafe to get coffees and sandwiches

Brian & I walked down Brooklands Road to the P&G gate

We then walked through to the cafe and got what we needed

then we returned back to the office

29/07/2015 A short evening ride – it was cold and overall it felt miserable

Went out for an evening ride, found it cold, threatening to rain and downright miserable – who stole summer ?

rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and on down to Queens Road

Went down Oatlands to Walton and picked up Walton Lane

Did my usual Wey and Portmore Park Road loops

Returned home up Heath Road and then down Hanger Hill

Walked down Hanger Hill to just past Pine Grove to the postbox

Walked back up Hanger Hill to home

29/07/2015 The usual lunchtime Brooklands P&G gate walk

Went out for a lunchtime wander with Barry, Rob, Morgan and Choaying

This was the usual Locke King Road / Brooklands Museum / P&G gate loop

28/07/2015 The evening ride looping round Shepperton and home – again !

Tuesday, July 28th, 2015

Went out for an evening ride braving the windy weather on the same route as yesterday

Rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges to Egerton Road

Went through Gower Road to Queens Road and on to Monument Green

Rode down Oatlands to Walton Bridge and crossed the river

Looped round Shepperton riding on Chertsey Bridge Road to return to Walton Bridge

Picked up Walton Lane and returned to town riding past the Weybridge Vandals ground

Looped round Portmore Park and Wey roads to the Chertsey road

Turned into Heath Road and rode up to the station

Returned home down Hanger Hill

The wind was lower, and the traffic was nowhere near yesterday’s level, so the ride was 20 minutes quicker 🙂

Had to go down and post a letter

Walked down Hanger Hill to just past Pine Grove to reach the post box

Returned back the way I came
