Went out on the racer this afternoon
Rode up to the A272 and across to Cuckfield
Rode up Ardingly Road then whizzed down Hanlye Lane
Carried on down the Balcombe Road and on to Lindfield
Went round the back street loop after riding on Hickmans Lane
Rode back past the pond and the common
Went up and over Gander Hill
Returned home past the fire station finishing up Perrymount.
Went out for a morning ride on the hybrid
Rode across town and up past the hospital before turning towards Wakehurst to reach Walstead
Rode to then along Plummerden Lane to get to Ardingly
Whizzed down College Road and then cut across to Borde Hill
Rode up Hanlye Lane (well at least it’s not Oathall) to Cuckfield
Went through the village and down the the bypass
Rode up the bypass to the A272 the headed back to town
Finally returned home via the Broadway
Went out for an evening ride on the racer
rode up the A272 and headed for Cuckfield
Rode up to the Ardingly road and then into Hanlye Lane
Whizzed down the lane and then down the Balcombe Road
Carried on to Lindfield via Hickamns Lane
Went round the back street loop and then came past the pond and common
Rode up Oathall (yes again! I forgot to take the tablets)
Went across town then down the Broadway to home.
Yet another lunchtime walk with Paul,
This time we walked down the B374 (Brooklands Road) to the A245 and headed for St Georges Hill.
At this point I should mention that we made a minor error in walking down the left hand side of the road – ho hum could we have used a machete !
At the A245 we turned left and carried on again on the left hand side (yep we didn’t learn)
Eventually we could go no further, and decided to return to the office
Yes, we did learn from our mistakes and walked up the other side.
Rode up to the A272 and across to Cuckfield
Rode up to the Ardingly Road then whizzed down Hanlye Lane
Rode down the Balcombe Road and through to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode north and did the 2 hills road to Stonecross Lane
Then picked up Plummerden Lane and rode through Walstead to Lindfield
rode back to town past the pond and common
Rode up Oathall – this is becoming a bloody habit!
Went across town and then down the Broadway to home.
Went out for a lunchtime wander with Paul up to the woods by the station
Initially we went to look at the info on the Surrey Diggers
We walked up the hill and crossed the road (not that easy when Seven Hills Road is closed and the traffic is higher as a result)
After reading the sign we wandered around the woods learning the paths through it.
Now we walked back and twiddled our thumbs crossing the road again.
This ride marks a big notch, it means that I have ridden further this year than last year (with 4 months left 🙂 )
Rode up to the A272 and headed east past the hospital
Turned off the road and headed for Walstead
Rode past the village and round Plummerden Lane then Stonecross Lane
Carried on to Ardingly then whizzed down College Road
Cut across to Borde Hll and then to the Heath
Rode down the Balcombe Road and on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode round to the back street loop and then headed back to town
Went up Oathall Road (yep 3rd time this week) then headed west
Returned home via the Broadway
Went out for a walk lunchtime with Barry & Paul,
We walked down the hill to the gate by P & G
Having gone through the gate we walked through the car parks to the Museum
We then walked round to the near edge of the old track before heading back on a loop
Finally we walked up the hill back to the office.
Went up the road to the A272 and on to Cuckfield
Road through the Ardingly road and down Hanlye Lane
Went down the Balcombe Road and on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode out of the village and up the double hills to Stonecross Lane
Rode down Plummerden Lane and on to Walstead
Carried on to Lindfield, and then rode past the pond and common
Rode up Oathall Road, then crossed town to the Sergison before returning home via the Broadway
Yes stupid has been out again on the bike !

Carried on to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode out of the top of the village and then ascended the double hill lane to Stonecross Lane
Went round and picked up Plummerden Lane which I whizzed down as I went into Walstead
Carried on to Lindfield and rode past the Pond and Common
Rode up Oathall Road ( the legs don’t want a divorce now, they have a contract out on me ! )
Went across town then returned home via the Broadway.
