Went out for an evening ride on the cyclocross bike.

Rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down Heath Road before turning onto the Chertsey road

Rode to the roundabout just outside Chertsey and turned for Addlestone.

In Addlestone I turned right and rode into Ottershaw where I turned for Woking

Then I headed for the A245 and rode back to Byfleet via West Byfleet

Here I rode into the Heights estate and picked up the Brooklands Road

I rode up to the station then returned home down Hanger Hill

Rode up Hanger hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Gower Road

Went to Monument Green via Gower Road and Queens Road

Went down Oatlands to Walton Bridge and rode through Shepperton to Laleham

Rode round past the river to Chertsey Bridge Road and then headed for Old Sheppeton

Went by the river before heading into Old Shepperton and turning for Walton

Crossed back over the river and turned into Walton Lane

Rode back to town and then rode Portmore Park Road to the Chertsey bridge

Turned into Heath Road and ascended the hill to the station

Returned home via Hanger Hill

Rode Oatlands to Walton and turned to cross the bridge

Rode through Shepperton to Laleham and turnedto ride by the river to Chertsey Bridge

Rode back to Shepperton and Walton before crossing the bridge

Crossed back over the river and turned into Walton Lane

Rode back to town and round Portmore Park Road to the Chertsey road

Turned into Heath Road and ascended to the station

Returned home down Hanger Hill

Rode up Hanger Hill to the station and turned into St George’s Avenue

Went to Baker Street via Gower Road and Queens Road

Stopped in Baker Stareet then rode to the Post Office

Once my letter was posted I cycled to Thames Street / Walton

Went to Walton and crossed the bridge before looping round Shepperton via the Chertsey Bridge Road

Crossed back over the bridge then went to Oatlands

Rode up Oatlands before returning home via Hanger Hill

Went out for a lazy morning ride on the cyclocross bike

Rode up Hanger Hill and then down Heath Road before turning to pass the Queens Head

Picked up the towpath and rode towards New Haw past Cox’s Lock

Here I surprised by the sight of Heron just standing there in the water, shortly after another flew overhead 🙂

The views as I rode along were wonderful and relaxing

After reaching New Haw I rode on past the anchor and reached the ruins of Newark Priory

I crossed the road and carried on past Send and on to the edge of Sutton Place where the surface was a swine to ride – sand on compacted dried mud – slippery as hell

Looking at the clouds and the time I decided to about turn and ride back

This time I joined the road by the Priory and rode past Pyrford, Woking, and West Byfleet to reach Byfleet

Here I turned towards Tescos but rode through the Heights to the Brooklands Road

Now I rode up to the station and then returned home down Hanger Hill

Rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Queens Road

Turned right and rode on to Esher before heading for the Scilly Isles roundabout

Headed to Hampton Court, crossed the bridge and then turned left to go to Hampton

Went through Hampton and turned to ride through Lower Sunbury on the way to Walton

Crossed the bridge and rode Walton Lane then Portmore Park Road

Rode home up Heath Road to the station and down Hanger Hill
