16/03/2016 The Evening Shepperton loops ride

Went out for an evening ride on this windy evening

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Then I rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and down to Monument Green

I then went down Oatlands to Walton Bridge before looping round Old Shepperton then Shepperton village centre

I then headed for Walton Bridge, and crossed the river before turning into Walton Lane

I rode back to town and turned into Portmore Park Road

I rode round to via Wey Road and the Bourne Estate to Heath Road,  then I ascended to the station

Finally I returned home down Hanger Hill

16/03/2016 To the Hand & Spear and back – Barry’s retirement do #1

Wednesday, March 16th, 2016

Went out for a lunchtime drink for Barry’s retirement, this is #1 as we are going again for #2 !

Myself, Barry, Morgan, Chaoying, Natasha, Adam, John, David, and Rob walked down Locke King Road

We then walked through Campbell Road to Lonsdale Road to the path to the station car park

We walked through the car park and crossed the lines on Brooklands Road

Finally we made it to the pub on Old Heath Road.

when we left we returned the same way

15/03/2016 Walton Bridge and back

Went out for an evening ride

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Then I rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and down to Monument Green

I then went down Oatlands to Walton Bridge before turning into Walton Lane

I rode back to town and turned into Portmore Park Road

I rode round to Heath Road,  via Wey Road, and ascended to the station

Finally I returned home down Hanger Hill

Went out for an evening ride on this sunny evening, shame it was windy

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Then I rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and down to Monument Green

I then went down Oatlands to Walton Bridge before turning into Walton Lane

I rode back to town and turned into Portmore Park Road

I rode round to Heath Road,  via Wey Road, and ascended to the station

Finally I returned home down Hanger Hill

14/03/2016 The lunchtime Brooklands / Heights loop

Monday, March 14th, 2016

Went out for a lunchtime walk with Chaoying, Barry, Paul and Morgan

We walked down Brooklands Road to the P&G gate which we went through

We walked down to the Heights and the bridge by the museum entrance

We went over the bridge and walked round to cross the river again as we headed up by the sewage works

Finally we returned to the office up Locke King Road

13/03/2016 a walk with Iren round town on the Wey towpath

Sunday, March 13th, 2016

Went out for an afternoon walk with Iren.

We walked down up Hanger Hill to Elgin Road and through to Heath Road

We then went down to the old Bridge and crossed the river to pick up the towpath

We walked the towpath to Jessamy road and then up to Thames Street

We detoured to the Old Crown and the Minnow before walking to the monument at the base of Monument Hill

We then went through Springfield Lane to Baker Street and along Springfield Meadows

Then we walked Chrutchfields Avenue to Hanger Hill and returned home

13/03/2016 A ride out to Ripley and Pyrford

Sunday, March 13th, 2016

Went out for a morning ride as it was lovely out there

I rode down Hanger Hill to Monument Green and then turned into Queens Road

I rode to Seven Hills Road and on to the A3 roundabout where I picked up the A3 cycle path heading south

Once past Wisley I took the Ripley turn and rode into the village

From here I turned for Pyrford and rode to pick up the A245 at West Byfleet

I rode the A245 to pick up the Brooklands Road and head for the station

I now looped round the station roundabout and rode down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Now I rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and headed for the town centre

I rode through the town and up Heath Road to the station

Finally I returned home down Hanger Hill

11/03/2016 A wander down the road to grab some fish and chips :-)

Went out to grab a plaice and chip supper

I walked down Hanger Hill to Monument Green

Then I walked down Monument hill to the chippy 🙂

I returned home the way I had came

11/03/2016 A longer lunchtime walk round the Heights area

Friday, March 11th, 2016

Went out for a lunchtime walk with Chaoying and Antonia

We walked down Brooklands Road to the P&G gate and went through

We walked down to the first roundabout and then headed for the housing estate

We crossed the river and walked round the community Park to the path by the river

We followed this to the crossing by the flats and ascended by the sewage works

when we reached Locke King Road we returned to the office

10/03/2016 A walk down to Morrisons and back – all for a loaf of bread !

Went out for an evening wander down to Morrisons

I walked down Hanger Hill to Monument Green

I then en down Monument Hill to Morrisons

I returned home in the reverse direction
