This is just a short ride due to me breaking the bike 🙁
The front gear change got damaged when my trouser leg got caught in it.
Had to come back with the bike sounding like a tank :-O
Pete and I had just turned at Walstead, having gone through Lindfield
Rode back up Sydney Road
Rode to Lindfield via Denhams Lane,
Rode through Walstead to Ardingly
Carried on to Borde Hill and then returned to town
Did a loop into the back of Lindfield before returning via Sydney Road
Rode to Lindfield via Denhams Lane,
Rode through Walstead to Ardingly
Carried on to Borde Hill and then returned to town

Yep, another long ride with Pete.
We rode to cuckfield via the now familiar Hanlye Lane,
We then rode through Ansty to Burgess Hilland returned to town on Isaacs Lane
Then we rode across town to descend Oathall and into Lindfield
We returned home via Hickmans Lane
Rode up the Balcombe road and Hanlye Lane to reach Cuckfield,
Then rode to Balcombe,
Returned to town via the village and the Balcombe Road – that road is an image of the Pleasure/Pain principle, one minute you are hammering downhill at 32 mph, then next its grab bottom gear and hit 2.5 mph as you crawl uphill :-O
We finished off riding to Lindfield and returnin via Sydney Road
Yes, did a variation on the HH fun ride,
Rode up the Broadway, cut across to Oathall and rode down the hill onto Lindfield,
Turned right and went out to Walstead and then cut across to Ardingly.
Rode over to borde hill and then went back to Lindfield via Denhams Lane,
Returned home via Sydney Road
Yet another 10 mile plus ride to consume the odd ounce (or more I hope) ridden with my neighbour Pete.
We headed up for Lindfield via Denham Lane and then went for the hills to Ardingly.
Those hills were still tough, but they appeared to be easier, perhaps all my hard work is paying off 🙂 (wishful thinking no doubt)
Once in Ardingly turned to come back via the college and then headed up the first tough hill which seemed to be cleared much quicker – this time I could power up it standing rather than seated 🙂
We then headed over to Borde Hill and returned to the Heath,
From here we went back to Lindfield, and returned home via Gander Hill
A good ride, with good company and it felt like I am stronger than before 🙂
First ride with my neightbour Pete and went for a toughie
Started off on the keep fit run going up Balcombe Road and Hanlye Lane
Then we went through Cuckfield and carried on to Burgess Hill via Ansty,
We turned sharp left at the first roundabout in Burgess Hill and headed back on Isaacs Lane to town.
We crossed town and went down Oathall and into Lindfield,
Here we turned left into Denhams Lane and returned home via Gander Hill
