Carried on up to Hanlye Lane
rode down the lane and Balcombe Road
was heading for Lindfield when got called home
Rode back up past the Fire & Railway stations

15/02/2013 – did the wee run again
Friday, February 15th, 201315/02/2013 – Lindfield, Walstead, Ardingly, Lindfield and back
Friday, February 15th, 2013Went out for a ride with Pete to re-acquaint him with the delights of the walstead run
We rode into Lindfield cutting through the back street to bypass the gas board works in Sunte Avenue,
Rode round Hickmans Lane to the High Street and then headed for Walstead, during which Pete had a brown trousers moment as a car pulled out on him
Carried on round to Ardingly through the puddles (now theres a surprise), and got overtaken by a hearse (is someone trying to tell us something here ?)
Whizzed down College Road, almost getting a free haircut thanks to low flying Army helicopters, then climbed up the hill before heading for the Borde Hill estate
Returned to Town and headed back for Lindfield
This time we went past the gas board and headed up Denmans Lane
Went up the High Street to the turnround point
Came back down the High Street and headed for the Heath
Rode up Sydney Road to return home
14/02/2013 – The Weeee run and the Lindfield return loop
Thursday, February 14th, 2013Did the weee ride with Pete including a trip into Lindfield
Rode up Perrymount and turned onto the A272
Rode into Cuckfield and headed for Hanlye Lane
Rode down the Lane and Balcombe Road
Headed into Lindfield and took a trip round the back streets until we picked up Hickmans lane
Turned round at the usual point and returned home.
14/02/2013 – Haywards Heath to Cuckfield, Goddards Green, Burgess Hill and back
Thursday, February 14th, 2013Yep, went for an explore of pastures (nearly new) this morning.
Rode up Balcombe road and Hanlye Lane
Then rode to Slough Green rather than into Cuckfield
Rode down Broxmead & Pickwell Lanes to Goddards Green
Rode to the Burgess Hill bypass and returned to town via Isaacs Lane
Returned home via a loop containing the railway station area
13/02/2013 – did the wee run on the hybrid avoiding the muppet drivers
Wednesday, February 13th, 2013Went out on the hybrid for a quick ride in the freezing cold
Went up through the broadway past the rather worried brass monkeys
Rode to Cuckfield on the A272
rode up to Hanlye Lane passing London Lane where a clio nearly collected the Scenic that couldn’t be bothered to look before whizzing across the roundabout.
Rode down Hanlye Lane passing the Potholes and then down Balcombe Road
Rode in Mill Green road where I nearly clobbered an alfa estate that reversed out of a drive without looking – does something tell you I should have fitted the camera?
Rode over the roundabout and up Perrymount to home.

Wednesday, February 13th, 2013Went for ride to get things back on track
Rode up to and across town
Rode down Oathall Road and on to Lindfield
Rode round Hickmans Lane before heading for Walstead
Then rode round to Ardingly
Came down College Road and across to Borde Hill
Rode up Hanlye Lane to Cuckfield
Returned to town on the A272 and came home via the railway station
09/02/2013 – did the wee run on the folding bike
Saturday, February 9th, 2013Yes, I finally managed to do the weee run with the folding bike 🙂
The weather was cold, it’s spitting with sleet and the GPS didn’t want to play but the BSO made it 🙂
After getting the longer seat post on the folding bike it’s more rideable 🙂
Rode up through the Broadway
Rode to the centre of Cuckfield
Rode down Hanlye Lane and the Balcombe Road
Rode up the Perrymount Road to home
Please forgive the screen print, the GPS failed to log the ride, well apart from .75 of a mile) so had to adapt an existing track
09/02/2013 – Haywards Heath to Cuckfield and back
Saturday, February 9th, 2013Took a short ride this morning as I am expecting a couple of phone calls, just as well as it snowed on me !
Rode up the Balcombe road and Hanlye Lane into Cuckfield
Turned left in the village centre
Returned home via the A272 and the Broadway
08/02/2013 – A wander round the Brooklands area
Friday, February 8th, 2013Went out for a longer lunchtime wander back down the B374 towards Byfleet
Walked round into the museum area past a wonderful looking building and along the Mercedes offroad track
Wandered back past Proctor and Gamble before going back to the office.
07/02/2013 – A loop round Cuckfield
Thursday, February 7th, 2013Yep, did the run around Cuckfield again on the folding bike,
It has new pedals, they felt better 🙂
Unfortunately the seat post hadn’t arrived, so it was still a horrible ride 🙁
But on the good side the stand is behaving nowand I can ride standing on the pedals.
Rode through to Cuckfield, looped round the village and returned
** stop press ** the seat post is now here although I might need to order a slightly shorter one – doh
