Went out for 1 more ride today, well it’s such a lovely day I couldn’t resist 🙂

Dragged the racing bike out I rode up Perrymount

Then I headed towards cuckfield on the A272

Rode into the centre of the village and then headed for Ardingly Road

Continued through to Hanlye Lane where I whizzed down it to join the Balcombe Road

Again whizzed down this and headed for Lindield

Went on Hickmans Lane to the turnaround point

Rode back through the village and headed for home via Sydney Road and then up Perrymount.

Went for an early afternoon ride with Iren on the Forest Way in the delightful Ashdown Forest at Hartfield with Iren

After driving on some rodes with stunning views (see pictures at the end of this) we parked at Hartfield

We rode then along the trail to Forest Row and grabbed a quick drink

We then rode back along the tree lined old railway trackbed to Hartfield

Rode up the Balcombe Road, and on up Hanlye Lane where, shock horror, I overtook a cyclist on a racing bike and got called a cheat !

When I reached Cuckfield I rode on to Burgess Hill via Ansty

Then I turned up Isaacs Lane and rode back to town

Rode across town then down Oathall road and on to Lindfield

Turned into Hickmans Lane and headed back

Rode up Mill Green Road and finally Perrymount Road to home
