Went out for the usual evening ride with the aim of getting it done sharpish before the rain started in earnest.
Rode up the A272 past the hospital and turned for Wakehurst
Turned right at Walstead and headed for Plummerden Lane
Went up the lane then headed for Ardingly via Stonecross Lane
At Ardingly I shot down College Road then turned into Copyhold Lane to head for Borde Hill
At this point the ride became very worthwhile as a deer trotted out across the road in front of me 🙂
Rode to Borde Hill then rode up Hanlye Lane to Cuckfield
At the heart of the village I turned for home
Returned home just before the rain got going 🙂
