Went out for an evening ride
Rode up to the A272 and over to Cuckfield
Went up to the Ardingly Road then down Hanlye Lane
Went down the Balcombe Road and across to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode up and over the 2 hills of the Ardingly Road before turning onto Stonecross Lane
Picked up Plummerden Lane and rode round to Walstead
Carried on to Lindfield, passing the pond and common before riding over Gander Hill
Returned home via Mill Green Road
Went out for a lunchtime wander with Barry and Paul
We walked down to JTI and looked at the old track going up to their car park.
Whilst covering the track with a manicured lawn might look pretty, it’s not respectful to it’s history š
Then we walked backĀ to the P&G gate
Then we walked down to the carparks
Passed the museum and walked to the bridge before turning back (it’s a mudbath under that bridge)
We walked backĀ to the P&G gate then up the hill to work
