Went out for an evening ride on the cyclocross bike.

Aware of the issues with Walton Lane I decided to do a different ride

The traffic round town was heavy and I gave in even thinking of turning right out of St Georges Avenue

So I rode to the end of St Georges and turned left then turned right into Oatlands Avenue

I rode to the end then turned right into Oatlands Chase then turned into Station Avenue

After a quick stop to take a picture of the old Birds Eye factory I rode to the junction and turned left

I rode through Walton and headed for the bridge before turning into Oatlands

At the other end of Oatlands I turned left into Queens Road

I returned home via Gower Road

Went out for a lunchtime wander with Rob

We walked down Locke King Road looking to wander past the flats, however we never made it

As we walked own to railway bridge we saw loads of black smoke that appeared to be from by the station

So we turned and walked up Lonsdale Road and then up through the station car park

Now the fire seemed to be further away, we walked a bit nearer to town but the smoke was disappearing

As we realised that we were nowhere near the fire we headed back to the office the way we had came
