Went out for an afternoon ride to blow away the cobwebs – they had no chance in the wind today
Rode down Hanger Hill to Monument Green and turned into Queens Road
Rode through to pick up Burwood Road and then on to Hersham and Hampton Court
Turned to ride to Molesey and Walton on the A3050
At walton I picked up Oatlands and returned to town
Returned home up Hanger Hill
Now it time to complete the magic 5,000 miles, and begin the trek to 100 miles per week
I rode up Hanger Hill to the station and then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road
Rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and on to Monument Green
I then rode down Oatlands to Walton Bridge and rode through Shepperton to Old Shepperton
I rode through the village to pick up Ferry Lane and rode to the pub to cough up for xmas dinner
After settling up I rode back to Old Shepperton and through to Walton Bridge
After crossing the river I rode Walton Lane to Portmore Park Road
I rode to the Bourne Estate via Wey Road then turned to rive by the river to Heath Road
I ascended the hill to the station and then returned home down Hanger Hill
After getting the back tyre replaced with a Kevlar one, and a new tube it was time to ride home
I rode out of Addlestone and headed for New Haw
I carried on to the A245 and then turned towards cobham
When I reached Brooklands Road I turned into it and began the ascent
I rode up Brooklands Road the station and returned home down Hanger Hill

Went out for a morning ride, the aim being to finally complete 5,000 miles this year
Rode up Hanger Hill to the station and turned down Heath Road
Rode down the hill and then picked up the Chertsey road to ride to the Addlestone Moor roundabout
Turned and rode towards Addlestone then i turned into Green Lane and rode across to Holloway Hill
At this point I felt that the back tyre was not right – yep yet another bloody flat tyre
I rode back into Addlestone and and waited for the bike shop to open
