Went out for an afternoon ride as it’s so lovely out there

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station and crossed to the car park

I then rode down the paths through to cross the river by the museum

Then I took the path round the lakes to cross the railway and head for New Haw

I then went to pick up the tow path, at which point I promptly fell off the bike

Guess who couldn’t get his leg over the saddle to stand on his own two pins !

After a few muttered obscenities I got back on and rode along to reach the Bourne Estate

I now turned to cross the river on the old bridge and reach Heath Road

I cycled round the High Street to Monument Hill

I ascended to the cricket pitch and returned home up Hanger Hill

Went out for a lazy ride by the river in the glorious sunshine

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down Heath Road to the old bridge

I crossed the bridge over the river then rode the towpath to the Town Lock

I now rode Thames Street until I could pick up the towpath again

I now went all the way to Walton Bridge car park and crossed Walton Lane

I now picked up the path past Broad Water and St Georges School to Monument Hill

I ascended to the cricket pitch and returned home up Hanger Hill
