Went out for an afternoon ride, fed up of waiting for the promised rain that failed to materialise
I rode Christchurch Road to the crossroads and turned right to go and get onto Bridge Lane
I then went to Lyne Lane and rode over to Thorpe Green and then Thorpe Lea
I turned towards Egham and rode round to pick up Whitehall Lane
This becomes Prune Hill, with bottom gear selected and a prayer I crawled up to the summit
Once over (without stopping) I picked up the A30 and went down to the Virginia Water turn
I rode down Christchurch Road to the roundabout and turned down Wellington Avenue
I then headed for Trumps Green before turning at the traffic lights back onto Christchurch Road
