Rode to Cuckfield, looped round through the village not touching the bypass as the legs were tired.
Rode back to the Heath and dropped down Perrymount Road to home.

Sunday, May 13th, 2012Iren and I decided to walk the route to Cuckfield heading to the Balcombe Road and back
The distance recorded is slightly suspect as it was recorded on my phone rather than the faithful old GPS
It was a good walk but the lack of footpaths on Hanlye Lane means that you need to pay attention to oncoming traffic.
13/05/2012 – A quick ride from Haywards Heath through Lindfield, onto Ardingly, and back
Sunday, May 13th, 2012Revisited the ride from 10/03/2012 to judge on how the fitness is some 2 months later
On that day the hills on the way to Ardingly from Lindfield killed me and some pushing was the order of the day, this time I managed to ride the hills and only had to push coming back into Lindfield up the mother of a hill 🙂
Overall the top speed was less but I took 10 minutes of the time taken and raised the average speed by nearly 2 mph 🙂
