Went out for a quick ride lunchtime, it had to be quick as the weather wasn’t looking delightful (now there’s a surprise)
Rode up to the station and turned right to ride down the B373
Went through town to return up the B374
Finished off the ride doing the Locke King Road loop
Went out for one more ride today on the hybrid
Rode up to the Harvester cursing my GPS which had decided to go on strike, I stopped here and rebooted the swine
From here I rode to Cuckfield & headed for Hanlye Lane
Whizzed down the lane then down Balcombe Road
Rode through to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Went past the turnround point and down the hill after it
Climbed up the other side of the hill and picked up Stonecross Lane then Plummerden Lane to ride in the reverse direction of normal
Rode back into Lindfield then headed for home via Sydney and Perrymount roads
Went out to tackle the fun run route on the racer this morning,
This was a late run by my morning standards, but wasn’t feeling too good earlier and could have redecorated the whole of the Amex by the time I left !
Rode down past the station then up to the Sergison to pick up the A272 towards Cuckfield
Turned onto the A273 and whizzed down to Burgess Hill
Then headed for Cuckfield via Ansty making it up the hill that defeated me a few weeks back [linky here]
when I got to Cuckfield I then whizzed down Hanlye Lane and the Balcombe road 🙂
Then I went into Lindfield via Hickmans Lane to the turnaround point
Returned home via Sydney and Perrymount roads.
After giving it a rest last weekend the racing bike was again unleashed on the roads,
Rode up to the A272 and turned for Cuckfield
when I reached the heart of the village I turned right and headed for Hanlye Lane
Whizzed down both the lane and the Balcombe Road
Rode into Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Cycled to the turnaround point then headed back to town
Rode up Oathall road then across town
Returned home via the Broadway.
Went out for the now customary ride out to Lindfield and round
Rode through to the centre of Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Then went to Walstead and carried on the Plummerden Lane, there’s some lovely bluebells out in bloom there right now 🙂
Rode round to Ardingly then turned into College Road
Went through to Borde Hill and headed for Cuckfield on Hanlye Lane
Rode through to the centre of the village and turned for home
Finally went across town, own Oathall Road before returning home via Sydney Road.
Went for a lunchtime ride from work 🙂
Rode up past the station then down to town
Turned left to head to Chertsey, over the narrow bridge and along by the river (see photo at the end of this)
Rode through the Bourne Industrial estate and onto the A317
Turned back at Woburn Park,
Returned back to the office via a swift trip to the Locke King Road loop
Went for a short ride this lunchtime round town
Rode up to the Station, and round the roundabout
Went down the B372
turned right onto the A317
turned right and rode up the hill on the B374
Turned right and did the ‘Locke King Loop’ before returning to work.
Set out this morning to tackle the HH Blue route.
Rode over Heath Road to Oathall Road and then down the hill to Lindfield
Rode out to Walstead and on to Ardingly
Instead of turning off to college road carried on up to Turners Hill
Rode across to the Cowdray Arms on the Balcombe Road and turned left
Rode to Balcombe and carried on towards Cuckfield
Rode up through Street and into Cuckfield, jeez that’s tough old haul up to the village!
Turned into Ardingly road and carried on to Hanlye Lane
Whizzed down the lane then down Balcombe Road
Turned into Mill Green Road then road back up Perrymount to the Broadway where I started.
I compared my time with the finishing times from this year’s bike ride, I would have finished in the top 30 🙂
Rode out to Lindfield via Hickmans Lane
Rode out to Walstead and past the golf course to Plummerden Lane, passing the burned out Toyota pickup
Carried on to Ardingly
Rode down College Road then across to Borde Hill
rode across to Cuckfield
Returned to town
Rode down Oathall Road
Returned home via Sydney Road
Went for a biggie (well it is for me) this morning.
Rode out to Ditchling Beacon then on to Plumpton past the racecourse
Rode on to Westmeston on the Underhill Lane
Went through to Hurstpierpoint via Clayton
Rode on to Ansty and Cuckfield
Rode up to Ardingly road then down Hanlye Lane
Rode down the Balcombe Road and on to Lindfield
Reached the turnaround point via Hickmans Lane
Rode back via Sydney road to Perrymount and home
