Went out for an evening ride on the hybrid
I looked at the clouds and saw blue skies coming so went for it (well we all make mistakes said the dalek climbing off the dustbin)
Rode to Queens Road and headed towards town
Went down Monument Hill and turned into Thames Street
Picked up the tow path and rode to Walton Bridge
Rode up to Oatlands Road and headed back to Weybridge
Halfway up the road the heavens opened – so much for my waterproof jacket – there are fish drier than I was by the time I got home!
After waiting under a tree (now there was a waste of time) I started riding again
At the end of the road I turned into Queens Road and headed back to St George’s Avenue
Rode back to home dripping as I went.
