Went out to test how the ankle was mending, I guess I can say it’s better 🙂
Rode down St Georges Avenue to Queens Road then down Monument Hill
Turned into Thames Street and picked up the Tow Path
Rode along the tow path to Walton dodging the Regatta crowds, amazed to Ardingly Rowers on the doorstep !
Carried on from Walton to Hampton Court Bridge then on to cross Kingston Bridge
Turned about and rode back to Weybridge then crossed town
Picked up the Wey Tow Path at the Bourne Industrial Estate and rode along past New Haw and Byfleet to just past Newark Priory
Rode on the road past Pyrford, touched Woking and headed for Byfleet where I carried on the A245 almost to the A3
Turned onto Seven Hills Road and returned to Queens Road then came home on St George’s Avenue.
The Ankle did fine, the nether regions ache a bit though !
Longest ride this year for the last 2 years for me.
