Went out for an evening ride on the racer – the intention was to go to Hampton Court and back all on the road
Went to Oatlands via St Georges Avenue and Queens Road
Rode down Oatlands and picked up the A3050 to ride all the way to Hampton Court Bridge
Crossed the bridge and started for home, then my troubles started – with a clatter my pedal fell off !
Rode for a mile or two, sliding the bugga back on as it tried to escape, then tried pushing the n=bike
Then back to riding as it was quicker – even allowing for stops to pick up the pedal when it escaped
The ride back included crossing Walton Bridge and up Oatlands
