Went out for an evening ride on the racer to check it after replacing the rear inner tube
Rode down past the monument to Thames Street via Queens Road and St Georges Avenue
Rode Thames Street to Walton Bridge and turned to Oatlands
Rode back up Oatlands to Queens Road and returned home via St Georges Avenue
I am now recording my rides with MapMyRide – here is today’s ride.
Went out for a morning ride on the racer, the aim being to get a decent ride in.
Rode down to Oatlands via Queens Road and St Georges Avenue
Dropped down Grotto Road then along Thames Street to Walton and crossed the bridge
Went through Shepperton and Laleham to Staines before riding in to Chertsey and picking up Green Lane
Went through Addlestone and New Haw before riding up Brooklands and down Hanger Hill to complete the first loop
Rode down Oatlands and picked up the A3050 to ride to Hampton Court and crossed the bridge
Started riding back and something didn’t feel right
Rode through Sunbury and had to stop, I had a puncture
I pushed the back back to Walton Bridge, up Oatlands and to home – a 4 mile walk, still it stopped the bum from hurting 🙂
