Went out for a morning ride post holiday
I went up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road
I rode through Gower Road to Queens Road and on to Monument Green
I turned into Oatlands and rode to Grotto Road which I rode through to Portmore Park Road
I then rode to Balfour Road and turned to ride over Woburn Hill to Chertsey
I rode through Chertsey and headed for St Anns Hill, this time riding the shorter, easier way.
but then I turned and did the reverse of the steeper way to loop round, then I again ascended the easier way
I then rode over the M25 to Hardwick Lane and turned into the lane
Here there was a sunken manhole, full of water, which I hit, the result 1 sore finger, 1 sore ankle , a slightly sore chest and possible the front wheel of the bike needs dressing 🙁
Once I got the chain on I rode down to pick up Green Lane and then on to Addlestone
I then rode through to New Haw and on to the Brooklands Road
I ascended the road to the station and returned home down Hanger Hill
