For Part 2 we walked along the tow path to the cafe at Walton Bridge for a coffee and a sprite

After the drinks we returned to the Old Crown to complete Part 2

Part 3 was a ride along Thames street to Monument Hill

Here we pushed the bikes up to the cricket pitch and turned into Hanger Hill

We rode home up the hill to complete Part 3

09/04/2017 A Heinz ride to Kingston and back

Sunday, April 9th, 2017

Went out for a morning ride to Kingston and back, it turned out to a bit mixed.

As the forecast was for a stinking hot day I banked on a load of traffic crawling to Chessington

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station and then down Brooklands Road to the A245

I then rode to Silvermere and along the lane to the M25 J10 roundabout

I looped round to continue down the A3 to the Ockham lane turn

I rode through to Martyrs Green and turned to towards Cobham

At Cobham I headed for Stoke D’Abernon I went round to pick up the A243

The traffic now was crawling where I could overtake them 🙂

After passing Chessington the traffic lightened out and headed through Hook to Surbiton

Now I rode to Kingston via  Mini Holland and headed for the bridge which I duly crossed

I now rode the towpath to Hampton Court Bridge and on to Weybridge

I rode on to Portmore Park Road and then to the Chertsey Road via Wey Road

I turned into the Bourne Estate and rode by the river to Heath Road

Now I ascended to the station and rode home down Hanger Hill
