Went out for an afternoon wander, the aim to clock up the steps, miles, calories and time on Fitbit
I walked down Hanger Hill to Monument Green and then down Oatlands to Grotto Road
I walked down Grotto Road to Thames street and then on to Jessamy Road
I then picked up the towpath and walked round by the river to the old bridge
From here I walked to Heath Road and ascended to the station
Finally I walked home down Hanger Hill
Went out for a ride this morning, hoping to clock a decent distance – who didn’t take the drizzle into account ?
I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then shot down Brooklands road to turn right onto the A245
It’s about this time that the drizzle started but I carried on to West Byfleet hoping it was going to clear
At West Byfleet it was clear, unlike my soggy glasses, that the drizzle wasn’t going soon so a ride home was the order of the day.
I turned right and rode through New Haw to Addlestone and then through the town
I then turned onto Balfour Road and returned to town which I rode through to Monument Hill
I ascended the hill to Monument Green and returned home up Hanger Hill dripping as I went
