Took the bike back to West Grinstead Station to tackle the north bound route – ho hum the ravages of christmas have struck – the energy levels in my legs have done an Elvis, they have left the building !
Ity’s a muddy track which is not surprising considering all the rain we have had in the last few days, fairly level, although my legs agree to disgree on that !
There are several road crossings, but care is required, the angles to pass through the barriers are a bit tight, and theres one at CopsaleĀ where a very low gear is required, or you will get caught out by the climb away from the road (not saying which idiot found that out !)
I carried on past the country park at southwater, but turned round at 3 miles where the Downs LinkĀ heads off across a field.
I intend to do greater distances, but that will do for now (think the exercise bike might get used gently)
