Went out to test my new saddle now I had raised it – it was too low earlier

Rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

Went through Gower Road to Queens Road

Rode down Queens Road to Monument Green

Returned home up Hanger Hill

Went out for a morning ride, intent on cracking the 5,500 mile landmark

This was my first ride with my new saddle so I wasn’t going far, I was also aware of the forecast 🙁

I rode up Hanger Hill to the station then down St Georges Avenue to Egerton Road

I rode through Gower road to Queens Road and down to Monument Green

I descended Oatlands to Walton Bridge and picked up Walton Lane to return to town

By now I knew the new saddle was too low, ho hum and the tools were at home – adjusting would have to wait

When I reached the High Street I rode through to Heath Road, by now the wind was up and rain drizzling

Now I had the pleasure (yeah right) of ascending to the station into the wind and rain – NOT my idea of fun

When I reached the station I returned home down Hanger Hill.

Now home the tolls came out and the saddle was adjusted – I hope it’s not too high :-O
