Went out for a walk down to town for my holiday jabs, and to get my glasses fixed.
I walked down Hanger Hill to Churchfields Avenue then down to the High Street
From here I went to the Community hospital and got used as a pin cushion
Now I walked along to Boots to get my glasses fixed – fat chance as they wanted me to leave them there for several days!
Agreed with Boots cheaper option than new specs and quicker one was to use superglue to put frame in lens
Walked to Robert Dyas and grabbed the glue, then started to head up Heath Road when glasses fell in two !
Put glasses in pocket and walked up the hill to the station then down Hanger Hill to home
Unpacked superglue and glued frame into lens – yippee stable specs again 🙂
