Went out for a quick walk to get some apples from Tescos
I walked up Hanger Hill to the station and then down St Georges Avenue to Queens Road
I walked to the store then carried on along Queens Road to the cricket pitch
Finally I returned home up Hanger Hill
Went out for a Sunday morning ride to Newlands Corner and back, somewhere I haven’t been to before
I rode down Hanger Hill to the cricket pitch and turned into Queens Road
I rode through to Seven Hills Road and on to the A245 where I turned to cross the A3
I then picked up the cycle path and rode to Send where I picked up the A247
I now rode onto the A25 and on to the viewing point at Newlands Corner
Now I must say it sounds easy doesn’t it, except the hill on the A25 to Newlands Corner is STEEP, my legs were not having any of that and refused to work several times (perhaps the gerbil should not have been woken up yesterday) but with rests and a wee walk I got there 🙂
Once I had a couple of energy gels and taken in the views it was time to return.
I rode back to Send and on to Ripley where I turned towards Ockham and Martyr’s Green
I then rode on to Cobham and headed back across the A3 to ride the A245 to Brooklands Road
I ascended the two hills to the station and returned home down Hanger Hill.
